Dear OW2 Members, dear All,
Last chance to register for OW2con’19! Please check out the OW2con'19 website and register now! With attendees from 12 countries, OW2con is a truly pan-European open source event. And this year we have the best programme ever! A great line-up of speakers from the largest IT companies, and nine thematic breakout sessions. And let’s not forget the free lunch and free beer party, all thanks to our sponsors. OW2’s code base is comprised of some 62 open source projects, 27 mature projects and 35 in incubation. Since it’s inception, OW2 has signed 150 members, 25 of them currently paying members, and registered 2500 individual members. OW2 has organised well over 1000 open source presentations and participated in some 200 events in 20 countries. As billion-dollar takeovers demonstrated in 2018 that open source has become mainstream, it’s time for OW2 to change gear and position itself as the open source partner of the European ecosystem.
On another note we are pleased to welcome new Corporate Member Dyne.org, a non-profit organisation who joins OW2 from the Netherlands with a cryptograhic technology.

Project of the month
Knowage is the new generation of open source analytical solution, as a natural evolution of the well known SpagoBI. Based on open standards and with a modular offering, Knowage addresses specific domains to particular sub-products, that can be combined each other to get a tailored size in a single solution. Knowage won an award at the OW2 Best Project Award Contest in 2018. More.
